Shared Interests
Moving to RiverWoods Manchester doesn’t mean giving up your hobbies! Most residents comment that they became more active physically and socially after moving here.
If you love to build, visit the Woodworking Shop, a utility room stocked with a full complement of wood-working equipment so you can finally build that coffee table or finish the dollhouse for your grandkids.
Our raised Garden Beds offer a communal space to dig in the dirt and watch things grow.
Love to read? We have a beautifully stocked library that is run, organized and staffed on a volunteer basis by our residents. It’s a perfect place to find your next read or meet up with other book lovers.
Avid word-smiths and journalists find a creative outlet writing and producing our monthly newsletter, and our ELF Committee (Exploration, Learning, and Fun) is made up of residents who work together to bring on-site concerts, lectures, and other engaging and entertaining events to the community.
RiverWoods Manchester even has two retail stores right on campus! Both organized, stocked, and staffed by residents for residents. Terrace Treasures offers pre-owned items a second home, and the Country Store provides our community with quick and easy access to convenience items, basic groceries and canned goods, candy, stationery, and gifts.
