Community Amenities

A Vibrant and Active Community

Choosing RiverWoods Manchester means choosing an active community developed by residents for residents. In addition to the wide variety of activities and outings organized by our staff, our active seniors engage in many on-campus activities and community amenities they plan and organize themselves.

I'm active on the Board of Trustees

and with our Civic Committee. We bring in political candidates for various state and federal offices and let them speak and answer questions from the residents. We also work to get as many residents as possible to vote by helping them to register and by providing transportation on voting day.

A Community Created by Residents for Residents

Our residents co-create community with the staff and leadership at RiverWoods Manchester. They always have a say in what’s going on through the Resident Council, the resident representatives on the Board of Trustees, and our staff and leadership’s open-door policy.

Resident Council

The Resident Council’s role is to understand the concerns and represent the interests of the residents to the leadership of RiverWoods Manchester. Residents selected for the Council are voted on by their peers.
