A Guide to Choosing a Continuing Care Retirement Community

Presented by Cathleen Toomey, Vice President of Marketing for the RiverWoods Group and Current Residents of RiverWoods Manchester.

The good news is that most of us are living longer. The question is what that life will look like and how increasing health care costs will be covered as you age.
How do you financially plan to maintain your current lifestyle for the rest of your life, no matter what happens?

Many informed adults are choosing Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) as a smart choice. But how do you evaluate CCRCs? What are their
differences in contracts and costs? Most importantly what are the advantages of living in a Retirement Community in times of social isolation like a pandemic?
This workshop will cover many key questions to help you assess CCRCs. It provides an insider’s look at different CCRC types and contracts.

This special version of the workshop includes the opportunity to hear from a panel of RiverWoods Manchester residents about what life is really like at a CCRC. They will share their experiences about how life changed for the better and how they discovered a community of friends. Listen as they explain all of the ways they feel safe and connected in a community, then translate their wisdom into your own success story.

Each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of The Insider’s Guide Booklet.
